Featured Vendor - Little Chick Designs

Coasters, pendants, and thumbtacks OH MY! Little Chick Designs has some really fabulous gift items... that is if you're actually able to part with them instead of keeping them for yourself! Scrabble tile pendants are the perfect gift for all the girls on your Christmas list. I'm sure there'll be lots of dinner and holiday get togethers on your calendar this year. Let those hostesses know how much you appreciate them slaving over the stove and doing all those dishes by giving a set of Little Chick Design's coasters. And keep your own Christmas list tacked up where Santa can see it with a set of adorable thumbtacks.

Fiberologie

Oh how I love Fiberologie! It is my happy place & an inspiration. If you haven’t seen the eye candy that is this wonderful shop or met the delightful owner, Karrie, the Handmade Holiday Bazaar is the perfect time to take it all in! Check out the Fiberologie site and read more about it here.

Featured Vendor: Red Marionette

One of last year’s HHB favorites, Red Marionette, is not only setting up her wonderfully colorful shop again at this year’s bazaar, but has also been helping to organize & promote HHB. Kelli has been hard at work on the bazaar happenings, and with lots of additions to her adorable collection too. Wreaths, tree skirts, and stocking will make their debut at the Bazaar… I can’t wait to see these cuties in person!! You can’t miss Kelli’s multihued tent and you won’t be able to resist her bright eyed, colorful, characters either!

Swag Call!

Hello out there in Crafty-Land!
HHB is handing out 25 swag bags to the first 25 adults at the show! We are looking for your SWAG to add to the bag!
It can be postcards, samples, coupons...anything you would like to give as an advertisement, eye catcher or sneak peek to your goods!
(We would prefer not to have business cards sent in as they are already there to see you!)

Please email Kelli at red_marionette@yahoo.com if you would like to contribute and she can send her address for you to mail them.
It doesnt have to be a full 25 if you cannot muster the goods, any amount we will gladly take.

We want these goodie bags to be tempting and lovingly hoarded, so make 'em good! :)

Happy Crafting!

HHB is Over...

HHB was held yesterday and I wanted to thank all of the vendors that came to the show. We had a fantastic location, BEAUTIFUL weather, and traffic all day.

This is my little Oscars thank you for the production of HHB 2008 I wanted to thank Karrie of Fiberologie for allowing us to have the show and open up on her day off for us ( and for her staff for coming in too), Mike of Nova for allowing us the use of his space, Limeys for being fantastic to deal with, before, during and after the show. Mark, Mike, Jessi and Jodi really helped us out and everyone appreciated the discount. Kittycrossbones for making our fanastic color flyers. All of the places we had that published about the show Creative Loafing, Skirt, St. Pete Times, and TBT. My folks and sister for coming and helping us during the day. Doug ( Stacey's husband) who helped multiple people unload, set-up and strip down and was as super good sport. Dan (my husband) for being there all day and watching the booth while I was chatting away, I know it was his IDEAL Sunday. He also helped Doug with setting up and stripping down vendors spaces. Lastly Stacey my partner in crime for this event. I would have never been able to do this without her. She is uber organized and always thought of things I didn't. I know planning this was not easy for her with her family, work and etsy life but we did it. Pluse she made me an AWESOME apron.. I am so glad we decided to take a chance. We wanted to do a show we were proud of, Mission Accomplished.

*some vendors are not pictured I do not know what happened to my camera( and I forgot to take some of people that asked me to come around later) please e-mail me at handmadeholidaybazaar@gmail.com if you'd like your booth picture up here. Thanks.( some people are not in the pics because they chose to not be in them, I gave them that option if they weren't feeling like a they were having a movie star day)

Featured Vendor: Kreepy Kids

Kreepy Kids is the sister store to Fallen Fey and Snappy Knees. In this etsy store you will find fantastic prints, shirts and other items that will embody famous people. there is an entire Wizard of Oz Collection or how about the 80's band people.

The versatility with being able to choose what Kreepy Kid goes on what item is great!

Here are some of the ones I want for my house. I guess with my computer being broken the last thing I need is a screen cleaner but I could use it as a pin cushion..

The tin man print from the wizard of Oz.
Siouxie from Siouxie and the Banshees print.
Computer screen cleaners with the Kreepy Kids on one side.

The newest item in their shop is edible sheet transfers with any of the 135 Kreepy Kids on it and you can put them on your own cupcakes or cookies at home. How cool is that?

So stop by Kreepy Kids booth at HHB. They will be with Fallen Fey and Snappy Knees too.

Vendor Feature: Wonderland Creations

Wonderland Creations makes the coolest hats. I was so excited when they decided to be a part of HHB. One of the best things is that they will me making custom hats right on the spot at the show!

All of Wonderland Creations Hats are made from anti-pill or polar fleece with embroidered details.

Here are pics of just a few of my favorites:

With cute hats like these what kid ( or adult) wouldn't want to wear them when it gets cool in Florida.

When I worked in Europe I wore a hat everyday and when I was back in April I did. I wish I was wearing one today cause it is 69 degrees at work so maybe I will have to buy one to add to my collection.

Since I have a HUGE noggin it is nice to see that they can adjust the hat size if you have a smaller or in my case larger head than 24 inches.

I am so looking forward to meeting Wonderland Creations at HHB next Sunday.

This 100% cotton, American Apparel, size 2T top is hand sewn & silkscreened. It is one-of-a-kind.

Kelly promises many other treasures like adult items for the show. Stop by and say hi at the Vida Madre table.

Featured Vendor: NS Studio

Nicole of NS Studio makes one of a kind keepsakes for you and your loved ones. One of the best things I thought about when Nicole sent her information in is all of the paints she uses are non-toxic which is so important if you are making items for children.

Her fun pieces are so colorful, custom and creative.

These are custom canvas pieces in her shop. Her pricing is as follows for similar pieces:
Small (144 sq. inches or less) $185
Medium (145-324 sq. inches) $225
Large (325-720 sq. inches) $300
X-Large (721 sq. inches or more) contact NS Studio
Prices are subject to increase based upon desired content and detail level, and will be evaluated on a per project basis.

Besides canvas she paints bare-wood furniture with designs of you choice.

NS Studio is a proud supporter of the Ballast Point Tot Lot Fund-raiser- raising money and awareness for a safe toddler playground at beautiful Ballast Point Park in South Tampa. 15% of all purchases will be donated to this worthy effort. For more information about the Tot Lot project, visit www.ballastpoint.org.

I am looking forward to seeing NS Studios pieces in person in a couple of weeks.
